This Year’s October show at the

Pomegranate Theatre will be

Viva Mexico!

Music: Ronald Hanmer Lyrics: Phil Park

Book by: Phil Park & Bernard Dunn

An amateur production with Joseph Weinberger Ltd

Director: John Goodrum

Musical Director: Andrew Marples

Choreographer: Roseanna Sanderson

Viva Mexico! Is a story of love and betrayal, mayhem and mischief.  It centres on El Rancho Grande, the haunt of patriotic Mexican bandits who are trying to finance a revolution.

They learn that a passing coach contains 1 million dollars so, naturally, they decide to rob it, leaving a less than competent duo to bring the spoils back to the ranch.  The two American passengers on the coach are persuaded to stay at El Rancho Grande to recover from their ordeal, but that only brings problems and surprises of its own.

Packed with tunes you know and inspired by the heat, passion and rhythms of Central America, this musical comedy promises to be something completely different.

DON’T MISS IT!!

It’s a first for both the society and the Pomegranate!
